Types of Material Available
We offer a variety of materials that can be used to create your custom sign.
- Molded Plastic- This budget-friendly option comes in almost any color and are created to be resistant to fading from the elements.
- Anodized Aluminum- Aluminum is both affordable and durable and can be painted to match your branding.
- Other Common Materials include: PVC, polished Bronze, and PVC
We recently had the opportunity to work with Step Computer Academy in Bellevue to create and install their new dimensional letter sign. STEP Computer Academy is “the fastest growing international educational institution, specializing in IT”. Their Bellevue location needed a new sign to replace their older one that had since been removed. By adding a new sign, future and current students could find the location with ease.
The dimensional letters used to create their new sign were produced from ½ thick acrylic with a custom chosen color to match their branding. On the back of each letter are multiple stud pegs which are used to hold the letter in the wall. To ensure their correct placement, our team uses a paper pattern created from the letters to locate and drill in the correct location on the building. Once the holes are made, the paper pattern is taken down. Each stud peg has a silicone adhesive applied and is carefully tapped into place with a rubber mallet.
